Writing this as a local, I'm quite familiar with the food, drinks & fun scene in Budapest. Spending time at The Workshop, having quality drinks with nice people, enjoying their great food, or just chilling out is one of my highlights in local city life. The Workshop's concept and atmosphere are state-of-the-art and will give you a perfect break from busy or touristy moments. They have great live music on most evenings and will definitely make you feel at home. Not to mention the perfect location - it's super easy to just jump in anytime. On of my absolute top favorites in lovely Budapest - enjoy!

Beautiful. This place is a real find. Walking in, is like stepping into a warm hug from a much loved friend. The decor is low key and no-bling but so tasteful and intriguing, you can sit in here for a long time, alone, simply soaking up the details. The food is good, the staff are excellent and the cocktails are sublime. The vibe is relaxed and unhurried. Another reason to visit Budapest.

I love the place as I can relax and have a great food in an inspiring atmosphere. I go there on my own to eat and catch up w e-mails, with business partners to have lunch where we can discuss serious things in a carefree atmosphere (you don't need to break the ice much, it is broken for you when you enter), with friends and also with colleagues for Christmas dinner. I have to praise the staff during the latter event as the place was packed, but still we managed to have a feeling of privacy, while the service was quick and efficient (or time slowed down due to several nice drinks and food). All in all, I highly recommend the place!

Just had a team lunch lasting into early evening drinks at The Workshop. Great atmosphere, nice menu, good service, friendly staff, convenient downtown location - in fact, it’s a hard place to leave. Would definitely recommend for any occassion!
