We ate breakfast and enjoyed live music from a guy with a saxophone.
You should try the choccolate cake desert!

You have to try the coffee & homemade chocolate cake. Dutch chocolate & just mouth-watering. The coffee is also irresistible.
The venue itself is so chilled out & nice to just sit back & watch the world go by.

We just had something small to eat here, coffee and hot lemonade. Lovely, cozy place if you want to hide from hustle and bustle of Budapest. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Btw. that home made lemonade is the TOP!THUMBS UP!

We found this place after a long wander through the streets. Quirky for sure but an oasis nevertheless. The staff are great and speak very good English. The hot chocolate I had was magnificent and the mushroom dip we shared with warm fresh bread was certainly welcome. Also very reasonably priced. I've not awarded 5 stars only because the toilets were really in a poor state. Hope they get that sorted out.

From the moment you walk near the rustic charm of this place is incredible! Simply the best coffee, craft beers and local food you could possibly want! The staff are what make this place, super friendly amazingly beautiful people and the best hosts. You will definitely wish no one else knew about this place and want it all to yourself! It’s the best place to while a few hours away with great company in the real Budapest.

We stopped in for a drink and stayed for the great atmosphere and service. There was a great range of Hungarian beer and wine to sample.

We stoped here for a quick coffee and a beer. They have a selection of Hungarian crafts beer and a god list of cold and warm coffees.
Service was god!

This place was walking distance to our hotel (Opera Hotel). They seemed to have a lot of different drinks, palinkas, sandwiches and coffees. On my second to last night in Budapest, I swung by here and had a couple of local craft beers (I recommend the Joker IPA). Overall, the owner was super friendly and the ambiance was pretty chill. I would definitely recommend having a beer or two, sitting on a table and just people watch and soak up the awesomeness of this beautiful city.

Traditional and authentic food. This is a place of real tasty treats and a generally good place to go to.

Fell in love with the owner here and the freshness of the food. The coffee is amazing and she has great smoothies that can be made with almond milk or soy milk if you are non-dairy. Tiny whole in the wall but a great place for people watching in the morning and at night. Super friendly service and super fresh ingredients and a healthy start to your day or great place for a tasty local beverage!

Our first night in Budapest was made very special by our first of two visits to the Rustic. The menu whilst simple, was excellent and the food we had on both occasions was beautifully prepared and presented. We were made to feel very welcome on our first night, so much so that we returned later in the week. Next time we visit Budapest, we will definitely call in here for the "Champagne breakfast", we were sorry to miss it this time around.

A great place to stop for a drink; a lovely owner and a nice little dog; although it does sleep a lot :-). Well worth a visit :-)

We walked into Rustic Bistro on a particularly gloomy day, but we immediately cheered up after walking inside. The bistro is true to the name "Rustic" and has a really cool vibe. The seating upstairs is comfortable and unique and there's even a stripped pole (which we were given free reign to use). Beatrice (the owner) was incredibly cheerful and nice! The food and drinks were great and although they were a little more expensive than I would have liked, it was still reasonably priced. They had a dog too which was a nice pick me up. The owner even invited us to a gymnastics show at the bistro that evening. I would definitely recommend checking this place out! We ended up visiting twice during a two-day trip!
